Anne Morrow
Anne
has had a long and varied singing career in radio, in television, on stage
and on concert platforms throughout Ireland. She made her first guest appearance
with the New Lyric in 2001, playing Ruth in The
Pirates of Penzance.
As a long-established member of Belfast Operatic Company - a company which became synonymous with Gilbert and Sullivan operettas during the 1970s and 80s - she played principal roles in many of these productions.
She won the award for Best Performance at the Waterford International Festival of Light Opera for her portrayal of Katisha in The Mikado.
Anne has also taken principal operatic roles in the late Havelock Nelson's Studio Opera Group, in Opera Northern Ireland and Castleward Opera.
