Claire joined New Lyric in 2006, when she played the part of Sally Smith in Me and My Girl.

She has trained with Betty Orr since the age of 11 and has had much success in singing competitions throughout Northern Ireland.

Recent achievements include winning the Rose Bowl Championship and the McConnell Trophy, as well as the Oratorio and Show Song in Carrickfergus Musical Festival. Claire holds various qualifications in music and drama, but one of her proudest moments came when she was one of eight finalists in BBC Radio 2's Choirgirl of the Year.

She was fortunate enough to gain a place in a Les Miserables Performance in Masterclass with The Creative Masterclass in London, where she was given the part of Fantine.

She has already appeared in several shows, and took Rockin' Mikado and West Side Story to venues throughout the UK with the Ulster Theatre Company.

Claire teaches Religious Education, English and Music at Ulidia Integrated College in Carrickfergus.
