Tony Finnegan - Director

Tony Finnegan Graduated from the Guildford School of Acting and Dance with a diploma in Musical Theatre in 1989, Tony has directed over 100 productions and has written a children's musical, Once Upon a Nursery Rhyme, which was premiered in Northern ireland in 2000. He also directed the World Premier of Requiem for Julie in the Rupert Guinness Theatre in Dublin.

He has many comedy, acting, singing and directing awards to his credit. Favourite roles to date include Seymour (Little Shop of Horrors), Chitterlow (Half a Sixpence), Pilate (Jesus Christ Superstar), Antonio (Merchant of Venice), Pseudelus (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), Melvin P Thorpe (Best Little Whorehouse in Texas), Fagin (Oliver), Henry Higgins (My Fair Lady), Tevye (Fiddler on the Roof), and The King (The King and I). He has been lucky enough to play the last two roles on numerous occasions and was delighted to play opposite Ceara Grehan, Christine Scarry and Carrie Crowley in productions of these, his favourite shows.
