Wilson Shields - Musical Director
Wilson
made his debut as Musical Director for the New Lyric in 2004 for their award-winning productions of Oklahoma!
and the Northern Ireland premiere of Copacabana.
Having worked with all the leading companies, he includes amongst his previous credits the Northern Ireland premieres of Camelot, Mack and Mabel, and Marie Jones' stage play Ruby.
Wilson's association with Belfast's beautiful Grand Opera House goes back to 1994, and he is particularly proud that he has been Musical Director for more than 1,000 performances in the theatre (surely a record!).
