Rehearsals

  1. When are rehearsals?

Rehearsals are subject to the specific production, but traditionally singing rehearsals are usually every Tuesday evening, and dancing rehearsals (approaching a show) every Thursday evening, both at 7:30 p.m.

  2. How are rehearsals structured?

Again, this depends heavily on the production involved. However, typically towards the beginning of the rehearsal period, practice will be split up into the three seperate disciplines: singing, dancing and acting, with a member of the production teaming leading each. Material is then pieced together gradually until whole runs of the show are used to tidy and tighten the production, ready for the theatre!

The production week is always a busy and exciting time. Performers will be expected to attend a band call, a technical and dress rehearsal aswell as taking part in microphone checks where relevant.
